Meetup.com is looking to add smart, creative, and experienced front-end coders to our User Interface Engineering team. These are mid and senior level positions on a collaborative, supportive, relaxed, and motivated technical team.

Needless to say, you should have good communication and problem-solving skills and a strong command of:

* HTML/XHTML markup * JavaScript & DOM * CSS * templating (PHP, JSP, ASP, Cold Fusion, etc)

Additionally, we’re looking for expertise in as many as possible of the following areas:

* Document semantics and structure * Shell scripting * Information architecture * Python (we use MochiKit, which adds some Python-like features to JavaScript) * Usability testing * UI Design * Accessibility considerations
