Next Internet is seeking a full-time PHP Developer for our CPC advertising marketplace startup in Mountain View. The goal of this company is to build the #1 “PUSH” click marketplace. We are already profitable and scaling quickly. We’re looking for highly energetic and talented engineers to help implement a state-of-the-art list management platform. The systems feature in-house mailing engine, sophisticated data validation and reporting platform and robust integration with numerous affiliates.
Responsibilities:
• Participate in overall architecture design
• Translate business requirements into high level design
• Perform detailed class-level and data model design
• Coding and implementation in both front-end and back-end of the application
• QA
• Provide production support
Qualifications:
• Minimal 2 years of professional programming experiences preferably in web based environment
• Strong objected-oriented design skills
• Knowledge in database schema design
• Logical and analytical with good problem solving skills
• Strong command of PHP including PHP5
• Familiar with general Internet technologies including HTML, XML, Javascript, HTTP, CSS, cookie etc
• Knowledge and experience in Apache, MySQL, Linux, NFS
• Knowledge and experience in other languages including Perl, Java, C++
• BS/MS in CS or related field
• Knowledge in system design and scalability issues is highly desirable
• Eligible to work in the United States
