We are seeking a Sr. Front End Web developer to join our dynamic cross functional product and Engineering team in New York, where you will apply your engineering skills to business needs in the burgeoning search industry. This is a great opportunity to make an impact quickly.

You will use a mix of our existing and/or new platforms to design and implement innovative Front End technology solutions for clients and internal business groups within set deadlines. You will act as the focal point between back end and front end technological product capabilities for internal business groups in accordance with client objectives. You will act as first line of defense to ensure core UI technology platform is running smoothly and in accordance with other Quigo technologies.

• Significant background in the following: application servers (Apache Tomcat, JRun etc.…), web servers and distributed or load balanced systems, Web Services and SOA, XML, DOM, and other W3C standards
• 5+ years experience building front-end web applications under multiple browsers and OS using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, JSP, Java Servlets and Struts MVC framework. Other front-end technologies such as AJAX, Flash, ActionScript etc. – a major plus.
• Experienced with backend technologies: SQL, Java, Perl and good database understanding in Oracle environment. Other languages/databases – a plus.
• 3+ years of experience with tools and environments such as: Photoshop, CVS, Eclipse, Toad, prototyping and testing tools, (other tools – a plus)

• Experienced at writing technical and end user documentation for web applications.

Requirements:

• Education: BS or higher in CS or other strongly related field (or equivalent experience).
• Graphic Design education and experience – major plus
• A huge plus will be familiarity with Data Mining; Behavioral Targeting; Contextual Advertising; online marketing campaigns, promotions, Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
