The skills required of people we need for development are varied enough that it will require people with different backgrounds. In priority order, our needs are:

• Data Gathering, Analysis and Programming (C++)
• Interface Development
• Technical Documentation Writer

1. Data Gathering
– This is the basis of the innovation of our product. The skills required include:
a) “Crack” C++ programmer
b) Highly knowledgeable of the various interactions of application system components. Must have thorough understanding of the communication between the tiers of an application system including workstations.
c) Must have a working knowledge of UNIX, Windows and Mainframe based systems.
d) Advanced knowledge of network protocols and packet content. Must also understand the hardware and software in network environments. Must be able to analyze packet details and determine the interaction of components of an application system from the packet view.
e) Must have extensive experience in computer performance evaluation. Prefer experience with Capacity Planning also.

2. Interface Development
– InsightETE is transitioning its from a screen to a browser-based interface to make it much more intuitive and interactive. The skills required include:
a) Creative – Someone that can come up with intuitive, user-friendly, interfaces.
b) Highly skilled in JAVAScript, JAVA conversion to JAVAScript, AJAX methodologies, Graphics, Report generation, UNIX, Microsoft.

3. Minimal Requirements and Experience – 3 to 7 years experience in some or all of the following technologies:
a) Operating Systems:
RedHat Linux 7.2 and Enterprise 3.0; Solaris; Windows (All Versions); IRIX, HPUX, AIX
b) Languages:
Java (1.1 – 1.5), J2SE, J2EE, Perl, C, C++, WSDL, JavaScript, SQL.
c) Databases:
SQL Server, MySQL & MySQL Cluster, Hypersonic, Oracle, JDBC, ODBC, Access.
d) Web Related:
REST, SOAP, Java Servlets, JSP, HTML, CGI, JavaScript, AJAX, Perl, Mason, FireFox.
e) Web Services:
GiftCertificateService (GCS), E-Commerce Serivce (ECS), Simple Storage Service (S3), Simple Queue Service (SQS), Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), Amazon Historical Pricing (AHP), and Simple Data Service (SDS).
f) Tools and Component Technologies:
NetBeans, Eclipse, Together Control Center 6.0, Rational RoseTM, JBuilder, Orbix, Visibroker, UML, Object Oriented Design/Analysis/Development, Component Architectures

4. Technical Documentation Writing
a) Must be able to clearly document the methods and procedures in order for others to use the software effectively.
