IT Position Available with Rapidily Growing Start-Up
at New Fortune Media Inc. in Philadelphia, PA
We are looking for an experienced IT Person to join our growing company in its early stages. The right applicant will have a passion to for creating something new and watching it grow from the ground up.
Job Requirements
- Experience working with medical industries is a plus but not required
- Proven experience building scalable web sites / web services from the ground up
- Fluent in client side technologies – Ajax, Javascript, Adobe Flex, CSS, XHTML, experience with UI libraries such YUI, Prototype, scriptacoulus is a plus
- An awesome portfolio of work demonstrating excellent visual design
- Previous experience designing for large scale web applications is a plus
- The ability to work at the speed of a startup, but with attention to detail
- Demonstrated mastery of Photoshop to create pixel-perfect mockups
- Solid understanding of additional Adobe CS3 applications
- Solid understanding of design pitfalls, especially with regards to web standards and browser compatibility issues
- Ability to learn and apply new concepts and techniques
- Demonstrated expertise in hand-coding XHTML/CSS to create semantic, standards compliant versions of your designs is a huge plus
- This is a great opportunity to be part of the core product team in an early stage startup aiming at a huge market opportunity.
